Chorneyko scores game winner as red-hot Saskatoon shades Swift Current 4-3 @NHLdotcom

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Adam Chorneyko scored the game-winning goal on a breakaway with 5:28 left in regulation as the surging Saskatoon Blades edged the Swift Current Broncos 4-3 in WHL action Friday.

The Blades (34-11-3-1) have now won seven games in a row, and have earned a point in 11 straight (9-0-1-1) since their last regulation loss on Dec. 27.

Saskatoon also had goals from Curtis Hamilton, Derek Hulak and Ryan Funk.

Matt Tassone had his team-leading 29th goal, Keegan Dansereau added his league-best 16th power-play goal and Taylor Vause also scored for the Broncos (26-23-0-1), who have dropped seven of 10.

Saskatoon goaltender Braden Holtby collected his 27th win of the season by turning aside 26 of 29 shots. Swift Current netminder Travis Yonkman yielded four goals on 28 shots.
