WILMINGTON, Mass. (AP) - Zdeno Chara says he doesn't know if the Canadiens will try to get back at him for his hit that seriously injured Montreal forward Max Pacioretty.

The Boston Bruins will face the Canadiens on Thursday night for the first time since March 8. In that 4-1 win by Montreal, Pacioretty suffered a concussion and a fractured vertebra when Chara checked him into a stanchion supporting the glass partition between the teams' benches.

Chara said after practice Wednesday that he didn't know if the Canadiens would seek retribution. But Montreal's Ryan White said they won't try to get back at him. The Bruins lead the Northeast Division with 90 points, three more than the Canadiens.
