Bud Holloway scores winner as Thunderbirds goalie White puts on a show @NHLdotcom

PORTLAND, Ore. - Bud Holloway scored on Seattle 65th shot to start the scoring for the Thunderbirds as they beat the Portland Winter Hawks 4-0 in Western Hockey League play on Friday night.

Jordan White made 68 saves in a losing effort for the Winter Hawks (9-43-1-1).

Holloway had two goals on the night, his first coming at 13:09 of the third period. Holloway's second goal was an empty net marker to make the score 3-0.

Seattle also got goals from Isak Quakenbush and Charles Wells. Sena Acolatse added two assists for Seattle (26-18-5-2).

Thunderbird goalie Riku Helenius (15-9) made 22 saves for the shutout win.
