Bud Holloway scores in overtime, IceCaps edge Comets 2-1 @NHLdotcom

UTICA, N.Y. - Bud Holloway scored 2:42 into overtime as the St. John's IceCaps edged the host Utica Comets 2-1 on Friday in American Hockey League action.

Angelo Miceli opened the scoring in the first period for the IceCaps (12-5-6), who are 6-0-4 in their past 10 outings.

Ashton Sautner responded for the Comets (9-9-3) early in the second.

St. John's netminder Eddie Pasquale made 30 saves for the win as Joe Cannata kicked out 13-of-15 shots for Utica.

The IceCaps went 1 for 3 on the power play while the Comets failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
