BOSTON (AP) -The Boston Bruins have signed forward Tyler Seguin, the second player taken in this year's draft.
The team announced Tuesday that Seguin had been signed to an entry-level contract after tying Taylor Hall for the Ontario Hockey League scoring title with 106 points. Hall was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers with the first pick.
Seguin was honored as the outstanding player in the OHL last season after scoring 48 goals with 58 assists in 63 games. In two seasons with the Plymouth Whalers, he had 69 goals and 104 assists in 124 regular-season games and 10 goals and 16 assists in 20 postseason games.
