Bruins hope to clear traffic from net, win series @NHLdotcom

WILMINGTON, Mass. (AP) -The Boston Bruins saw plenty of improvement in the Philadelphia Flyers in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference semifinal. Now the Bruins want to wrap up the series and not give the Flyers another chance to get better.

Philadelphia stayed alive Friday night when Simon Gagne scored in overtime for a 5-4 win that cut Boston's lead in the best-of-seven series to 3-1. The Bruins play the next game Monday night at home where they're 5-0 in the playoffs.

Boston center Patrice Bergeron said the Bruins can't give the Flyers any more life because they're a great team. He was among a handful of players who reported Saturday for medical treatment. Both teams had the day off from practice.
