VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -St. Louis Blues forward Andy McDonald is sitting out against the Vancouver Canucks because of an undisclosed upper body injury.

McDonald's injury, sustained on the final play of the Blues' 2-1 overtime loss to Edmonton on Saturday, forced him to miss Sunday night's game at Vancouver.

Blues coach Davis Payne said McDonald is day to day, but declined to reveal if the center sustained a concussion when he was hit in the head by the knee of Oilers forward Shawn Horcoff. Taylor Hall scored the winning goal on a breakaway created by the collision that left McDonald down on the ice.
