Blades beat Swift Current, move into a tie with Broncos atop East Division @NHLdotcom

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Rookie Burke Gallimore scored his eighth goal of the season and visiting Saskatoon Blades defeated the Swift Current Broncos 3-1 Wednesday for their seventh straight Western Hockey League win.

Travis Toomey and Stefan Elliot also scored for Saskatoon (8-4-0-0) which pulled into a tie with Swift Current (8-3-0-0) atop the WHL's East Division.

Jordan Peddle replied with a third period power-play marker for Swift Current.

Saskatoon netminder Braden Holtby improved to 6-3-0-0 with 28 saves on 29 shots.

Swift Current goaltender Mark Guggenberger fell to 6-3-0-0 despite making 38 saves on 41 shots.
