Blackhawks' Daley day-to-day with upper-body injury @NHLdotcom

Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Trevor Daley has an upper-body injury and will not play against the Nashville Predators at United Center on Tuesday.

"He's going to be out [Tuesday], but it's not serious and it's more day-to-day," coach Joel Quenneville told the Blackhawks website Monday.

Daley fell awkwardly after taking a hit from Winnipeg Jets right wing Chris Thorburn in the first period of a 3-1 win Sunday. He played 7:34 and blocked one shot before leaving the game.

Daley has five assists in 27 games this season.
