Beyers scorestwice, including shoot-out winner as the Colts beat the Otters 4-3

ERIE, Pa. - Steven Beyers scored once in regulation time and the winner in a shootout as the Barrie Colts defeated the Erie Otters 4-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Tanner Pearson had a goal and an assist for the Colts (14-10-3) as Alex Lepkowski added a single goal.

Mark Sheifele assisted on all three of Barrie's regulation time goals.

Chris Marchese led the Otters (3-23-1) with a goal and an assist while Greg McKegg and Stephen Harper scored the others.

Clint Windsor made 25 saves for the win as Ramis Sadikov stopped 35 shots in defeat.

The Colts went 1-for-3 on the power play as the Otters went 1-for-5.

Although they picked up a point, Erie is winless in their last 12 games.
