KELOWNA, B.C. - Jamie Benn had a hat trick for Kelowna as the Rockets rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to defeat the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-3 in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

Cody Almond, with a breakaway goal just before the end of the second period, also scored for Kelowna (11-7-0-0). Benn's goals were his league-leading 15th, 16th and 17th of the season.

Carter Bancks, Dwight King and Carter Ashton replied for Lethbridge (9-8-0-0), which led 2-0 after the first period and 3-2 late in the second only to have Almond level the score with 31.6 seconds left in the period.

Benn closed out the scoring midway in the third with an unassisted goal after stripping Hurricanes defenceman Alex Therlau of the puck in front of Lethbridge's goal.

The Hurricanes are now 2-5 in away games, including a 5-2 loss in Kamloops on Friday night.

Juha Metsola made 23 saves for the Hurricanes, while rookie Adam Brown stopped 19 shots for the Rockets.
