Bauml scores three, including OT winner, Silvertips beat the Thunderbirds 5-4 @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Kohl Bauml scored three goals, including the winner in overtime, as the Everett Silvertips defeated the visiting Seattle Thunderbirds 5-4 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Josh Birkholz had two goals and two assists for the Silvertips (10-28-9) while Ryan Harrison and Ryan Murray chipped in with two assists apiece.

Jared Hauf, Connor Sanvido, Justin Hickman and Colin Jacobs each had a goal for the Thunderbirds (17-25-2), who have now dropped three games in a row.

Kent Simpson made 23 saves for the win as Calvin Pickard stopped 30 shots in defeat.

Everett went 2 for 3 on the power play while Seattle went 1 for 6.
