Balanced attack keeps Colts on top with a convincing win over Erie @NHL

BARRIE, Ont. - The Barrie Colts continued to dominate their opponents on Saturday night, routing the Erie Otters 5-1 to win their third straight in Ontario Hockey League action.

Over that three-game span, the Colts have scored 15 goals while only allowing three. The win keeps Barrie (5-1-1-0) atop the Central Division.

Five different players scored for the Colts, including Ryan Gottschalk's winning goal at 13:27 of the first period. Erie's only goal came from the hands of Sean Jones with six seconds remaining in the second period.

Stefan Della Rovere, Adam Payerl, Michael Sgarbossa and Darren Archibald also scored for Barrie. Michael Hutchinson stopped 30 shots for the win.

Jaroslav Janus made 31 saves for the Otters (2-6-1-0).
