CHICAGO (AP) - As the Stanley Cup finals have reached the stretch run, the focus falls on the coaches for their in-game adjustments and ability to keep their players from feeling too much pressure.
Chicago coach Joel Quenneville meddled with his line combinations Friday, separating stars Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews in an attempt to give the Blackhawks a lift late in Game 4.
Quenneville said Sunday before Game 5 at the United Center that more line changes were a possibility, declining to be specific.
On the other side, Philadelphia Flyers coach Peter Laviolette has made his share of noteworthy moves in this series. He has stuck defensive stalwart Chris Pronger on the Blackhawks' first line as much as possible, for one.
