PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Andrey Makarov made 34 saves as the Saskatoon Blades beat the Prince Albert Raiders 2-0 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.
Jake Trask and Lukas Sutter each scored a power-play goal for the Blades (37-27-3). Trask's goal came with 52 seconds to go in the first period, while Sutter scored with 37 seconds left in the second.
Cole Holowenko stopped 37 shots for the Raiders (20-40-6).
Saskatoon dominated Prince Albert in special teams. The Blades went 2-for-6 on the power play, while the Raiders failed to convert on three man-advantage opportunities.
