Anaheim scores two early goals, rolls over Coyotes

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Anaheim Ducks couldn't score for the first three months of the season. Now they can't lose, and their red-hot power play is leading the way. 

The Ducks tied a franchise record with their 10th straight victory, 5-1 against the Arizona Coyotes at Gila River Arena on Thursday.

Ducks captain Getzlaf out against Coyotes

Center day-to-day with lower-body injury

Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf will not play against the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday because of a lower-body injury. 

Getzlaf sustained the injury in a 3-2 shootout win against the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday.

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Goalie Niklas Treutle will make his first NHL start for the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday at Gila River Arena as they try to snap the Anaheim Ducks' nine-game winning streak.

Treutle will start in place of another rookie, Louis Domingue, who has made the past 11 starts for Arizona and lost eight times, including 6-0 to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday to cap an 0-5-0 road trip.
