COLUMBUS -- The Philadelphia Flyers surrendered a two-goal lead in the final 1:04 of the third period before eventually losing 3-2 in a shootout to the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena on Tuesday.

Philadelphia (35-24-13) gave up goals to Boone Jenner and Cam Atkinson in the last 64 seconds of regulation and Jenner had the deciding goal in the fifth round of the shootout.

3/22/16: An official video review determines that Boone Jenner's stick was below the crossbar on his 3rd-period tip-in and the goal stands

At 18:56 of the third period in the Flyers/Blue Jackets game, video review supported the referee's call on the ice that Boone Jenner's stick was at or below the level of the crossbar when he deflected the puck into the Philadelphia net. According to Rule 38.4 (vi) "The determining factor is where the puck makes contact with the stick in relation to the crossbar. If the puck makes contact with the portion of the stick that is at or below the level of the crossbar and enters the goal, this goal shall be allowed." Good goal Columbus.

COLUMBUS -- The Philadelphia Flyers can move back into the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Eastern Conference with at least one point against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday at Nationwide Arena.

The Flyers begin Tuesday one point behind the Detroit Red Wings and hold a game in hand. The Red Wings play at the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday.
