Blues' Elliott blanks Canucks in return from injury

Makes 19 saves against Canucks in first start since Feb. 22

VANCOUVER -- The St. Louis Blues played a perfect game for goalie Brian Elliott in his first start since Feb. 22.

Elliott spent most of the night watching the Blues dominate with a season-high 50 shots at the other end, needing to make just 19 saves to help St. Louis to a 3-0 victory against the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena on Saturday.

St. Louis goaltender healthy again after missing 10 games

VANCOUVER -- St. Louis Blues goaltender Brian Elliott will start against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday after missing 10 games with a lower-body injury. 

Elliott hasn't played since he was injured during a Feb. 22 game against the San Jose Sharks, but has been practicing for almost two weeks. His .929 save percentage this season leads the NHL, and he was 6-0-1 with a .935 save percentage in eight games before his injury.
