COLUMBUS -- Brandon Dubinsky scored the only goal in the shootout to give the Columbus Blue Jackets a 4-3 win against the Florida Panthers at Nationwide Arena on Saturday.

Two goals, one in overtime, were taken off the board, and Panthers forwards Aleksander Barkov and Nick Bjugstad hit the post on two of three chances in the shootout.

Rookie Joonas Korpisalo made 28 saves for Columbus (26-29-8); the Blue Jackets have four regulation losses in their past 19 games (11-4-4).

Florida Panthers forward Jussi Jokinen had his 500th NHL point Saturday.

Jokinen assisted on Aleksander Barkov's goal at 11:59 of the first period against the Columbus Blue Jackets to give Florida a 1-0 lead.

Paliotta eager for Blue Jackets debut

Defenseman replaces Jack Johnson, who is out two weeks

COLUMBUS - Defenseman Michael Paliotta makes his Columbus Blue Jackets debut Saturday against the Florida Panthers.

Paliotta was called up from Lake Erie of the American Hockey League to replace defenseman Jack Johnson, who sustained an upper-body injury Thursday against the New Jersey Devils and will be out two weeks.

Season series: The Florida Panthers will try for a three-game sweep of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Aleksander Barkov scored the deciding goal to give the Panthers a 2-1 shootout win on Dec. 4 at Nationwide Arena. Barkov scored twice and Jonathan Huberdeau had two assists in a 3-2 win Dec. 27 at BB&T Center. Brandon Saad had a goal and an assist for Columbus. Vincent Trocheck had a goal and an assist for Florida.
