In a tightly contested Atlantic Division, the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Florida Panthers 3-2 at Scotiabank Arena. After falling behind by a goal, the Leafs responded with three straight from John Tavares, Mitch Marner, and Matthew Knies. Anthony Stolarz made 29 saves to help secure the win, but it was Matthew Knies who earned the belt. With the victory, the Leafs clinched a spot in the playoffs for the 9th straight season.
