World Cup Of Hockey Games at Air Canada Centre

(September 3, 2004) -- Fans attending the 2004 World Cup of Hockey games at Air Canada Centre are being advised to arrive early due to capacity crowds and increased security procedures. It's strongly urged that fans leave large bags, parcels and knapsacks at home.  Gate opening and game start times are as follows:

The world's top eight hockey nations will compete in the second World Cup of Hockey tournament between August 30 and September 14, 2004 with five games, including the finals, played at Air Canada Centre. 

Team Canada, 2002 Olympic gold medal-champions, will be joined by teams from Slovakia, United States and Russia in the North American pool, while the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany and Sweden will compete in the European pool.
