The 2010 World Hockey Championships are winding down in Germany and Thursday's quarter-final matchups have been set.

Team Canada fell 3-2 to the Czech Republic on Tuesday. With the loss, Canada finishes fourth in Group F and will now face Russia on Thursday.

Russia finished first in Group E after going undefeated in five games. Russia defeated Finland 5-0 with Nikolai Kulemin scoring his third goal of the tournament. He has recorded five points in six games thus far.

The other matchups include: Finland vs. Czech Republic, Sweden vs. Denmark and Switzerland vs. Germany.

The relegation round has come to an end with the U.S.A. avoiding relegation after a 3-2 sudden death shootout win over Italy on Tuesday.The U.S. came in first in the relegation group while France came second. Italy and Kazakhstan have relegated to the 2011 Division 1 World Championship. The United States finishes 13th, France 14th, Italy 15th and Kazakhstan 16th.

Christian Hanson's 2010 World Championships ended with one assist, a plus two while averaging 11:06 of ice-time a game.

Mikhail Grabovski and Belarus have also been eliminated from quarter-final contention. Grabovski and Belarus ended the tournament with a 2-1 win over Denmark on Monday.

Grabovski finished the tournament with three assists while playing 22:17 per game.
