The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Sunday that defenceman Phil Oreskovic and goaltender Justin Pogge have been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.
Oreskovic, 22, was recalled by the Maple Leafs on March 8 and appeared in 10 games, collecting two points (one goal, one assist) with 21 penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut on March 9 at Ottawa and scored his first NHL goal on March 24 versus Washington (Jose Theodore).
Pogge, 22, has appeared in six games with the Maple Leafs this season, posting a 1-4-1 record. In 49 games with the Marlies this season, the 6-3, 204-pound netminder has compiled a record of 23-20-5 with a 2.70 goals against average and a .895 save percentage.
