No Klee Yet As Leafs Face Habs at Home

by Staff Writer / Toronto Maple Leafs

Surely Maple Leafs fans with tickets to Monday's tilt versus the Montreal Canadians or preparing to watch at home on Leafs TV were hoping to get a glimpse of new blueliner, Ken Klee in his new home blues.

However, with a question or two still left to be answered in the defensive corps., head coach Pat Quinn had made the decision to hold off on the veteran's Maple Leaf debut.

Instead, Carlo Colaiacovo, Pierre Hedin and Ric Jackman will continue their audition, while Aki Berg, Tomas Kaberle and Bryan Marchment fill out the rest of the blueline on the lineup card.

Defensive hopeful, Maxim Kondratiev gets the night off, but should be expected to skate Wednesday versus the Senators.
