Jonathan Miller, another top prospect from the Pittsburgh area, is well-known for a steady intensity as well as a formidable skill package.

“I think that’s a tribute to my mom. My mom has a great drive for the work she does. She is a very successful woman. I can’t say enough good things about her and I think both my parents game me such a driving, competitive nature.“

Miller’s mom is s travelling executive for Heinz. His dad works in construction. His high-flying mom, he said, gives him the vision. His dad exemplifies the need to get his hands dirty to make something.

The result of all this is often a hard charge to the net.

“I am a big power forward. When I am going straight to the net or bringing the puck out of the corner I am at my most dangerous.”
