In honour of Leafs Fund Awareness Night, the Toronto Maple Leafs players have donated their personal tickets for tonight’s game against the New Jersey Devils at 7:00 p.m. to three children’s charities for underprivileged kids. The three charities being supported are The Peel Children’s Aid Foundation, Make-a-Wish Toronto and Central Ontario, and Sick Kids Hospital Foundation.
The children in attendance with the donated tickets will meet and greet with the players following the game in the Leafs’ dressing room.
In addition, Luke Schenn
will be signing cookbooks pre-game outside of Centre Sports at Air Canada Centre. In support of Leafs Fund for Kids, fans can also purchase mystery pucks, cookbooks and can bid on online auction items at the game.
As the charitable arm of the Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Club, Leafs Fund for Kids is committed to improving the lives of youth by providing access to sports and recreation opportunities in our community.
