The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Thursday that the team has loaned forward Josh Leivo
to the American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies.
Leivo, 22, has skated in four games with the Maple Leafs so far this season. He has also registered 30 points (11 goals, 19 assists) in 35 games with the Marlies and was named an AHL All-Star earlier this month. Leivo was originally selected by Toronto in the third round (86th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
The Maple Leafs return to action after the NHL All-Star Break when they travel to Boston on February 2, while the Marlies travel to Grand Rapids for a 7 p.m. game at Van Andel arena tomorrow night.
