(TORONTO) -- Leafs TV announced Thursday that former Rogers Sportsnet anchor Jody Vance will join the network for the coming season.
Vance will host Leafs TV's Saturday morning news and information show, "Leafs Latte' plus Saturday night's, "Leafs Late Night', a discussion show featuring a panel of guest reporters that will follow the post-game show, "After the Horn'. Both "Leafs Late Night' and "After the Horn' will be simulcast on AM 640 Toronto.
Vance will also co-host Leafs Game Day with Leafs TV veteran Brian Duff and will be part of the intermission segments that will air during Molson Maple Leafs Hockey on Leafs TV and regional Maple Leafs broadcasts on TSN and Rogers Sportsnet.
The Vancouver native will begin her tenure on September 1.
"We are pleased to bring Jody onboard," said Tom Anselmi, executive vice-president, chief operating officer, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. "Her experience and professionalism will only enhance the other changes we are making on Leafs TV and during our game broadcasts."
In the coming weeks Leafs TV will announce the network programming lineup along with graphic and set changes that will position the network for years to come.
Twelve regular season Maple Leafs games, exclusively on Leafs TV, will be accompanied by the one-hour pre-game show, "Game Day' and the 90-minute post-game show, "After the Horn'.
All eight preseason games will be shown live exclusively on Leafs TV, and for the first time, Leafs TV will be airing Maple Leafs' regular season games in High Definition. Each Toronto Maple Leafs game will be carried live on AM 640 Toronto Radio beginning in the preseason and continuing through to the season's conclusion.
