Toronto Maple Leafs left wing Ryan Hollweg has been suspended automatically for three games, without pay,  as a result of being assessed his fourth Game Misconduct within 41 games in NHL Game #32 against the St. Louis Blues on Oct. 13, the National Hockey League announced today.

According to Rule 23.5, "any player who incurs a total of two game misconduct penalties for stick-related infractions, Boarding (Rule 42) or Checking from Behind (Rule 44), shall be suspended automatically for  the next game … for each subsequent game misconduct penalty, the automatic suspension shall be increased by one game."
