Bryan McCabe registered a career-high four assists February 5 at Ottawa. The last time a Toronto defencemen registered four assists in a game was March 4, 1994 at Detroit (6-5 win) when Dmitri Mironov accomplished the feat. McCabe and Mironov are the only two Toronto defencemen to register four or more assists in a game since the start of the 1985-86 season. McCabe ranks fifth among NHL defencemen in points (37) through February 17, 2004 and leads team defencemen in goals, assists and points.
