The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Monday that the hockey club has reassigned Sam Carrick, Josh Leivo and Stuart Percy to the American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies.
Carrick, 22, has been held pointless in five games with the Maple Leafs so far this season. The Stouffville, Ontario native made his NHL debut on November 1 against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Leivo, 21, has skated in two regular season games with the Maple Leafs, collecting one goal and two penalty minutes. The Innisfil, Ontario native made his season debut with the Maple Leafs on Saturday night against New York.
Percy, 21, has registered three assists and two penalty minutes in eight regular season games with the Maple Leafs so far this season. The Oakville, Ontario native made his NHL debut on October 8 against the Montreal Canadiens.
The Marlies return to the ice on Friday night at 7 p.m. in Rochester (AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres), while the Maple Leafs get set to host the Boston Bruins on Wednesday at Air Canada Centre.
