Proceeds from the Blue & White game benefit the Leafs Fund, the charitable arm of the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club. Raising more than a million dollars each year, the Leafs Fund is committed to improving the lives of children and youth by providing access to sports and recreation opportunities that encourage health and wellness in the community.
McDonald's Restaurants of Canada Limited will serve as the title sponsor, while AM 640 will be the media sponsor.
Single-game ticket sales for the Leafs 2005-06 season will be announced in mid-September. The team's home opener will be Wednesday, October 5 with the Leafs hosting the Ottawa Senators at Air Canada Centre.
