The Toronto Maple Leafs are committed to making a difference in the Toronto community. Our players, community ambassadors and media personalities make over 600 appearances in the community at charity, sporting, school and business events throughout the season.

Player Appearances

The Toronto Maple Leafs are committed to making a difference off the ice by involving themselves, both as individuals and as a team, in community, business and charity based events within the GTA that are associated with:

  • Community Outreach Initiatives
  • Sport Fundraisers
  • School Fundraisers
  • Charitable Causes
  • Business Initiatives

To request a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs at your next event, please ensure that your event meets the following requirements prior to completing your submission form.

  • Requests must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance of the date of your event
  • Please consult the Toronto Maple Leafs season schedule HERE to ensure that the date of your event does not conflict with a game day

Community Ambassadors

Following their successful careers as members of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Wendel Clark and Darryl Sittler continue to be a part of the team by giving back to Toronto as Community Ambassadors.

Giving their time to several corporate causes, Wendel and Darryl attend community, business and charity based events independently within the GTA that are associated with:

  • Community Outreach Initiatives
  • Sport Fundraisers
  • School Fundraisers
  • Charitable Causes
  • Business Initiatives

Wendel Clark is one of the most beloved players in Toronto Maple Leafs history. In 793 career NHL regular season games spanning 15 seasons, Clark recorded 330 goals, 234 assists, 564 points and 1690 penalty minutes.

On November 2, 2000, the former captain was named a community representative for the organization. Clark represents the hockey club in the areas of Marketing, Community Relations, and Alumni Relations.

Darryl Sittler is one of the greatest players to ever wear the Toronto Maple Leaf uniform. In 844 games with Toronto he recorded 389 goals and 527 assists for 916 points.

On August 8, 1991, Sittler returned to the organization and the former captain represents the organization in the areas of Marketing, Community Relations and Alumni Relations.

Speakers Bureau

The Toronto Maple Leafs Media Personnel make up our Speakers Bureau and attend community, business and charity based events within the GTA that are associated with:

  • Community Outreach Initiatives
  • Sport Fundraisers
  • School Fundraisers
  • Charitable Causes
  • Business Initiatives

Speaker topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Leadership
  • Sports and Basketball
  • Broadcasting
  • Motivational Team
  • Building MC of Events

Henny is the Maple Leafs sideline reporter. He tees up all mid-week games and you can catch him also co-hosting Leafs Today throughout the week exclusively on Leafs TV.

Joe is the voice of the Toronto Maple Leafs. You can catch Joe doing play-by-play of all Leafs mid-week games as well as doing all preseason games on Leafs TV. He has broadcast over 1,600 Maple Leafs games.
