After flying in yesterday Mike Lundin met the media with the rest of the YoungStars.  Everyone was on time with the exception of Patrick Kane of the Blackhawks who had some travel delays.  Ludin spent some time playing the latest hockey game from 2K Sports in between interviews.
It was an early morning today as the players had an 8:15 a.m. bus from the hotel to Philips Arena for the Rockin' Skate.  Prior to the practice there was an interview session and photo op with the teams' captains which just happened to be Vinny Lecavalier and Jarome Iginla from the Calgary Flames.  It was an interesting moment as one of the more memorable moments from the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals featured the two squaring off in a battle of superstars.  Following their practice, which included several drills and on-ice interviews conducted by Taylor Kitsch from NBC's Friday Night Lights, it was Marty St. Louis and Vincent Lecavalier's turn to meet the media.  They were ushered around to several media stations which included stops with NHL Network and XM Radio.  They also did some staged photos for NHL Images.  While Lecavalier was conducting his media 'scrum' right next to him was former "Who's the Boss" star Alyssa Milano, and even at the NHL All-Star Game, her media scrum rivaled that of Vinny's.  R&B Star Usher was also in attendance.  He was actually smaller than I had imagined.  All three Lightning players will hit the red carpet, along with the rest of the All-Stars starting at 4:30 tonight.
