Team White defeats Team Blue at Saturday's Lightning training camp tournament

Jean-Francois Soucy's goal in the fourth extra round of the shootout gave Team White a 5-4 victory against Team Blue at Saturday's Lightning training camp tournament. It was the first loss of the tournament for Team Blue, which remained in first place at 3-1. Team White, led by Evgeny Artyukhin's two goals, moved into a tie for second at 2-2. Dan Boyle had three assists, Martin St. Louis had two goals and Brad Richards tallied a goal and an assist for Team Blue. Richards continues to lead the tournament with 16 points after four games.

In the day's other action, Jason Jaspers continued his hot camp with the winning goal in the shootout as Team Black (2-2) defeated Team Red, 5-4. Jaspers beat John Grahame in the eighth extra round of the shootout after Grahame and Sean Burke had put on a goaltending clinic.

Jaspers had two goals for Team Black while Adam Henrich chipped in two for Team Red (1-3), including the late goal that forced the shootout. Jaspers moved into a tie with St. Louis for the tournament's goal scoring lead with six.

In Sunday's final day of tournament action, Team Blue faces Team Red while Team Black meets Team White at 10 a.m. at the Ice Sports Forum in Brandon.
