Ben Bishop’s mask is done and ready for its 2014-15 debut.
Take a look at the work done by Jason Livery and Head Strong Grafx.
Livery said the mask took about a week to complete and he was given free reign by Bishop on how to design the mask with the only stipulation that Bishop wanted a darker-colored mask.
“We did mostly dark blue and blue throughout the mask with some neat 3D effects with the bevel edges on the side logos and chin number. Also, there’s a cool splatter look on the top stripes to give the effect of it's being wet like in a storm,” Livery said. “The side logos also have Big Ben clock ghosted in with a sweet liquid metal paint applied over it so at different angles it really shimmers.
“All in all it was a super fun mask to paint and very proud to add Ben to our list of clients as well as the Tampa Bay organization.”
