The Tampa Bay Lightning will continue their Rolling Thunder 20-Stop Tour, a series of fan events complete with interactive games and giveaways, with two stops this week. On Thursday, October 11, the Rolling Thunder Tour will be at Ruth Eckerd Hall located at 1111 N McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater for the Taste of Clearwater event from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The Taste of Clearwater stop will be followed by a stop at the Tampa Bay Boat Show sponsored by the Tampa Bay Times on Sunday, October 14, at the Florida State Fairgrounds from 12-3 p.m.
Both stops this week will feature ThunderBug along with different interactive games including corn hole and ladder ball. Each event will also give fans a chance to win Lightning themed prizes as well. Admission to the Tampa Bay Boat Show is free, but parking is $6. The Rolling Thunder fan truck will also be at the Hyde Park Village Fall Festival on Saturday, October 13, from 5-10 p.m. This is not an official tour-stop; therefore fans will not be able to collect points on their rewards cards.
The Lightning continue celebrating their 20-year anniversary with the Rolling Thunder 20-Stop Tour to give fans a chance to bring friends and family to participate in interactive games and activities. Rolling Thunder, the Lightning’s marketing fan truck, is full of entertainment for all ages.
Fans will also be given a rewards card at each event and can collect points for each time they attend a stop on the tour. Fans attending all 20 events will get a 20th anniversary t-shirt and a chance to win a pair of front row Lightning tickets for a game during the upcoming season. Fans that go to five Rolling Thunder stops will get a McCafé ® real fruit smoothie or frappé from McDonald’s ®. Fans will also have the chance to win a Vincent Lecavalier signed jersey, Lightning team magnets and other prizes for attending the Rolling Thunder stops.
