TAMPA BAY – Singer/song-writer and producer Kevin Rudolf, who’s debut single “Let it Rock (featuring Lil’ Wayne)” reached the no. 5 position on the Billboard Hot 100 late in 2008, will perform Saturday, January 17 on the Chrysler-Jeep Plaza at the St. Pete Times Forum after the Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Florida Panthers at 7:30 p.m. (Sun Sports, 620 WDAE).  The concert is the first of the St. Pete Times Concert Series the Lightning will host during the ’08-’09 season.

A native of New York City, Rudolf’s debut hit is currently holding strong at no. 9 on the Hot 100 and at no. 8 on the Billboard Pop 100.  His debut album, In the City, is currently available on Cash Money / Universal Republic Records. Rudolf has also collaborated with superstars Nelly Furtado, the Black Eyed Peas, Lil’ Kim, LL Cool J and more during his young career.

The concert is presented by 93.3 WFLZ, and the station is conducting on-air ticket giveaways all week leading up to the game.  Katie Sommers is giving away two tickets to the game from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. each day this week.  93.3 FLZ will also be conducting a “Watch the Game with Kevin from his Suite” contest.  Winners of the contest will have the opportunity to watch the game with Rudolf from a luxury suite at the St. Pete Times Forum.  Ratboy & Stay Puff are giving away one pair of tickets to the suite each night this week.  WFLZ will also conduct a register-to-win contest on the Plaza for a guitar autographed by Rudolf compliments of Cash Money / Universal Republic Records.  The winner will be announced at the concert.  Fans at the hockey game will also have the opportunity to text-to-win an autographed guitar and that winner will be notified next week.
