TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning today announced new key business partnerships with PNC Bank and Little Caesars pizza.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome PNC and Little Caesars to the Lightning family of partners today," Lightning Chief Operating Officer Steve Griggs said. "As we continue to construct a world class organization we will need world-class partners such as PNC and Little Caesars. The Lightning's agreement with PNC Bank makes it the official retail and commercial banking partner of the team and the St. Pete Times Forum. The deal also gives naming rights to the arena's all-inclusive club, formerly the Channelside Club, to the bank. The club will now be known as the PNC Bank Club.
"Jeff Vinik and the Tampa Bay Lightning strive for excellence in everything they do, and in a very short period of time, built one of the best franchises in all of sports while simultaneously establishing themselves as a leader in the region's business community," said Joe Meterchick, regional president of PNC Bank for Central-West Florida. "PNC, the Vinik Family and the Tampa Bay Lightning share common values including investing in the communities that we live and serve. We are excited about, and we look forward to, strengthening our partnership and furthering our commitment to the economic vitality of the region while raising the awareness of our brands."
