Looking For Back-to-Back Wins In Ottawa

by Lightning Insider / Tampa Bay Lightning
After a travel and recovery day from Toronto to Ottawa yesterday the Lightning got back to work today in Ottawa with an 11:30 a.m. morning skate at Scotiabank Place in preparation for tonight's game with the Senators.

With the road win monkey now off their backs, the Lightning are looking to build some momentum and finish the road trip strongly with tonight's game against Ottawa and Saturday's against Montreal still remaining.

With a 40-save effort in the 2-1 win over Toronto and some of the best goaltending numbers in the league in his back pocket, Antero Niittymaki will get his second consecutive start in goal for Tampa Bay.  He has been outstanding of late and the Lightning will try to ride Nitty to a few more W's.

Center Ryan Craig cleared waivers today and was recalled from AHL Norfolk.

He met the team in Ottawa and is available to play tonight, although Head Coach Rick Tocchet did not say whether he would play or not.

Fans can look for the game in high definition on Sun Sports or they can tune to 620wdae to hear Dave Mishkin's radio call.

After tonight's game the Lightning will hop on the bus and make the 90 minute drive from Ottawa to Montreal to prepare for Saturday's game against the Canadiens.
