The Tampa Bay Lightning players' wives and girlfriends will host a toy drive, benefiting Toys for Tots, this holiday season on the west plaza at the St. Pete Times Forum from 5:30-7:45 p.m. prior to games December 5 against the New York Islanders (7:30 p.m.; Sun Sports, 620 WDAE) and December 7 against the Washington Capitals (7:30 p.m.; Sun Sports, 620 WDAE).
Lightning players' wives and girlfriends will be on the plaza prior to both games accepting new, unwrapped toys. Through the gift of a new toy, the Lightning and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation will provide happiness and hope to disadvantaged children in the Tampa Bay area who might otherwise be overlooked this holiday season. All fans contributing a toy will receive two ticket vouchers valid for an upcoming Lightning home game.
