The Tampa Bay Lightning players’ wives and girlfriends, in conjunction with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, will host a toy drive this holiday season on the west plaza at the St. Pete Times Forum prior to games December 4 against the Colorado Avalanche and December 15 versus the Atlanta Thrashers.
Collection boxes to accept new, unwrapped toys will be placed on the plaza prior to both games. Through the gift of a new toy, the Lightning and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation will provide happiness and hope to disadvantaged children in the Tampa Bay area who might otherwise be overlooked this holiday season.
Each fan who makes a cash or toy donation will receive one voucher, good for two tickets, to be redeemed at their choice of either the December 15 home game against the Thrashers or the contest to be played on December 20 versus the Carolina Hurricanes.
