Lightning to Celebrate Halloween Tomorrow Night

by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be hosting a Halloween Night at their game this Saturday when the team hosts the Buffalo Sabres at 7 p.m. at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Fans are encouraged to share photos of their own Lightning-themed carved pumpkins on Instagram and Twitter using #BoltsPumpkin. The Top 4 submitted photos will participate in a pumpkin carving competition on Ford Thunder Alley prior to the game. Fellow Bolts fans will vote on the four pumpkins and the winner will receive a pair of Chase Club tickets to a future home game.

Lightning fans are asked to arrive early to watch the pumpkin carving contest on Ford Thunder Alley. A balloon artist and face painter will also be in attendance to entertain young Bolts fans. Children 14 and under who wear costumes can enter the game early for trick-or-treating on the Promenade Level inside the Time Forum between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Parents are asked to bring their own candy buckets or bags. There will be free cotton candy for children while supplies last.

Additionally, parents may take advantage of the Lightning’s $12 Kid’s Ticket program, presented by Subway Restaurants, for kids 14 and under with the purchase of a full priced Terrace Level adult ticket at the McDonald’s ® Ticket Office.
