TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning are proud to host the “Teammate Networking Event”, presented by TeamWork Online, on Thursday, March 7 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum prior to their home game against the Winnipeg Jets. Tampa Bay area sports executives will be in attendance including Lightning chief operating officer Steve Griggs and TeamWork Online president and founder Buffy Filippell, to talk with young professionals and students about the sports industry.
There are more than 125 young professionals registered to attend the event on Thursday night which will include a panel discussion from leading sports industry executives, a meet and greet and a chance to watch a live Lightning home game. Attendees who purchased a ticket package will have the opportunity to learn how to get started in the sports industry or advance their careers in the fast-paced sports world. The Lightning will be represented by Griggs, vice president of sales Jamie Spencer and director of group sales Ryan Niemeyer.
Registration for the Teammate Networking Event begins at 6 p.m. and attendees are asked to enter through the Premium Entrance at the Times Forum. The panel discussion will take place outside of section 210 and then be followed by a meet and greet with the attendees and executives. After the formal part of the program, all attendees will have the opportunity to watch the Lightning take on the Jets.
