What are you most excited to do when you get to Tampa?

I’m excited to meet my teammates.

Are you going to try to play ping pong before each game like you have done in the past?

I don’t know how it will work. Obviously, in Minnesota we had a ping pong table and everything, but maybe I will try to start a ping pong league in the locker room.

What is your favorite thing to do during the offseason?

Play tennis and badminton.

You’ve been known as a huge fan of Andy Roddick. Why is that?

Because he is a big Lacoste guy. I like his Lacoste clothes and the way he handles himself at times. He is pretty emotional and a real gentleman. I went to Wimbledon this last summer, I didn’t get to meet him but it was pretty incredible.

Your favorite food listed is pasta. Can you cook well?

I’m okay, but I’m not the best. I’m far from being the best actually, so I consider myself a real average cook.

What is your favorite kind of music to listen to before you hit the ice?

I like to listen to techno. I’m a big techno guy.

How are you feeling about the big climate change from Minnesota to Tampa?

I’m really looking forward to it, I’m being real positive. Obviously, it’s going to be a big adjustment but I’m looking forward to it. I have heard a lot of good comments about it and I’m feeling really positive about it.

What is your favorite television station to watch?

ESPN Network.

If you weren’t a hockey player, what would you be?

I would have been an advisor in sports or a radio and TV person.

One of the funniest moments of last season was when you shared a “kiss cam” moment with your Wild teammate James Sheppard. Want to tell us about that?

Yeah, it was just kind of funny timing. We had the lead in the game and on our team, you always try to enjoy the game as much as you can. For some reason that game was a little bit more fun than usual. The timing was right and I was joking around with Sheppard, saying “They are doing the kiss cam right now, and I want to let you know that if they put you on this kiss cam, I will be planting one right on your helmet.” He kept on saying that he wouldn’t do it, he wouldn’t do it, but the cam finally came on us and I did it. It was just something that was sort of funny.
