Lightning Prospect, World Junior Champion G Dustin Tokarski to Sign Autographs Monday

TAMPA BAY – Tampa Bay Lightning prospect and 2009 World Junior Championship Gold Medal-winning goaltender Dustin Tokarski will be on hand to sign autographs for fans on Monday, January 19 when the Lightning take on the Dallas Stars at 7:30 p.m. (Sun Sports, 620 WDAE).
Tokarski, 19, will sign autographs for season ticket holders on the patio of the CCM Club from 6-7 p.m. He will also sign autographs for all fans in attendance behind section 104 during the first intermission.
Drafted by the Lightning in the fifth round, 122nd overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Tokarski recently served as the starting goaltender for Team Canada at the IIHF 2009 World Junior Championships. He played in four games during the tournament, posting a 4-0-0 record with a 2.65 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage en route to backstopping Canada to their fifth consecutive World Junior Gold Medal. Tokarski made 39 saves on 40 shots in a 5-1 win against Sweden in the Gold Medal Game.
A native of Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Tokarski was named the MVP of the Memorial Cup Tournament in 2008 after leading the Spokane Chiefs to the CHL Championship. He posted a 16-5 record with a 1.38 goals-against average in the tournament, which serves as the championship for the OHL, WHL and QMJHL. He was also named the top goaltender in the tournament and was named to the 2008 Memorial Cup All-Star Team.
Tokarski has put together another solid season between the pipes for the Chiefs in 2008-09. His .937 save percentage leads the WHL, his 1.97 goals-against average is second and his four shutouts are tied for second.
