Lightning Power Play expands coverage of the Playoffs

The Tampa Bay Lightning today announced extended coverage of their 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs, presented by Florida Hospital, on their 24-hour iHeartRadio channel, Lightning Power Play.

It’s easy for fans to access Lightning Power Play. They can simply search “Lightning Power Play” on their iHeartRadio app, or for a stream. Those looking to listen to exclusive insight and analysis can also follow Lightning Power Play on Twitter@TBLPowerPlay for programming updates, schedules and more.

Throughout the 2014-15 Lightning season, Lightning Power Play has provided live Lightning broadcasts, game replays, the team’s weekly radio show, Lightning Hockey Night, Syracuse Crunch and Florida Everblades game broadcasts and exclusive original content. As Lightning players prepare to bring their game to the next level on the quest for the Stanley Cup, Lightning Power Play will too with expanded coverage.

Every game day with an evening puck drop, The Opening Face-Off with Steve Duemig returns LIVE from noon to 1 p.m., bringing you the latest news and interviews before the game.

At 1 p.m., the station welcomes in JP Peterson and Fan Central, a unique look at that night’s game, and all events surrounding Amalie Arena for a home game.

At 2 p.m., regular daily programming takes over for an hour. On Mondays it’s Chad Schnarr’s Bolt Prospects podcast. Listeners will hear the Lightning Radio Power Play Podcast on Tuesday. Wednesdays, fans can learn more about the Syracuse Crunch with Crunch Weekly. On Thursday, Power Play will replay Wednesday night’s Lightning Hockey Night. On Friday, Dory & CT bring Bolts fans interviews and opinions with Game MizConduct. And on weekends, it’s the best of The Opening Face-Off, and Big Rig’s Blue Line, featuring 98 Rock’s “Big Rig” Ron Michaels.

From 3-5 p.m. there will be a repeat the 12-2 p.m. block of The Opening Face-Off and Fan Central. 60 minutes before puck drop, Pre-Game Warm-Up, presented by Clearwater Toyota, gets you ready for the game as we head in to the Subway Pre-Game Report, followed by the call of the action with Dave Mishkin and Phil Esposito.

The post-game show, The Last Call, continues after home games from Rumfish Grill at Amalie Arena, with hosts Matt Sammon and Bobby “The Chief” Taylor. The Last Call will exclusively come to Lightning Power Play after all road games, LIVE from Hablo Taco in Channelside with Sammon and Jassen Cullimore hosting.

All playoff games will be replayed all night, overnight, starting at midnight through noon the next day.

For 3 p.m. game times, our programming will start at 9 a.m., following the same timeline leading up to puck drop.
