Lightning announce corporate partnerships for 2014-15 season

TAMPA BAY –The Tampa Bay Lightning announced several new partnerships and extensions to existing ones for the 2014-15 season and also unveiled their new “Championship Partner” distinction today.

The Lightning have extended key partnerships with Florida Hospital, Little Caesars, Florida Blue, Lakewood Ranch, Anheuser-Busch, Subway, Mosaic, MillerCoors, Tires Plus and Corona, to name a few. Florida Hospital, the official health and wellness partner of the team, will present the entire 2014-15 season as a key platform to increasing their brand awareness in the Tampa Bay market. Little Caesars renewed their sponsorship with the team which includes branded concession stands at Amalie Arena in addition to the Little Caesars Family Fun ticket pack. Anheuser-Busch extended their partnership with the team and Amalie Arena which includes the Bud Light Party Deck, a popular outdoor rooftop destination for Lightning fans and concert attendees.

In addition, the Lightning have welcomed several new partners for the 2014-15 season, including Amalie Motor Oil company, Laser Spine Institute, PDQ, Hardee’s, Mr. Empanada, Valspar, Florida Cancer Specialists, MicroLumen, Valpak, Circle K, Malektronic and Guy Harvey RumFish Grill. Amalie Motor Oil company entered into a long-term partnership with Tampa Bay Sports & Entertainment on September 3, 2014, the agreement made them one of the team’s top partners with the centerpiece being the naming rights to the 19,204-capacity arena in which the Lightning play. Laser Spine Institute and the Bolts have created the Give & Grub food truck which makes appearances at Lightning home games and throughout the Tampa Bay community. For each meal purchased, Laser Spine Institute will donate one meal back to the less fortunate through Metropolitan Ministries and Feeding America. PDQ, Mr. Empanada and Guy Harvey RumFish Grill will have branded concession stands at Amalie Arena serving signature food items from their respective restaurants.

The Lightning have also announced a new sponsorship designation for their top-tier partners. Championship Partnerships are the highest level available and include sponsorship and marketing elements with the Lightning, Tampa Bay Storm and Amalie Arena. Championship Partnerships are fully integrated, encompassing branding, activation, community involvement, hospitality and other experiential assets and benefits. The Lightning’s Championship Partners include Bright House Networks, Chase, DEX Imaging, Laser Spine Institute and the Tampa Bay Times.
