Fox Sports announces first round Stanley Cup Playoffs TV schedule

FOX Sports Florida and FOX Sports Sun announced the networks television schedule for the Tampa Bay Lightning’s first round playoff series versus the Detroit Red Wings, beginning with Game 1 on Wednesday, April 13, on FOX Sports Florida. Live coverage of Game 1 starts at 6 p.m. from Amalie Arena with a special, one-hour Lightning LIVE pregame show. Each game will also feature an in-depth postgame show with interviews and commentary. With games scheduled to be replayed late at night and the following day, FOX Sports Florida / FOX Sports Sun will be airing over 40 hours of Lightning programming on the networks throughout the series. FOX Sports Florida / FOX Sports Sun will televise all first round games except those exclusive to NBC.

In addition to coverage on FOX Sports Florida throughout North / Central Florida, Game 1 will be available on FOX Sports Sun for viewers in the Orlando television market.

Play-by-play announcer Rick Peckham and color analyst Brian Engblom will provide viewers with expert commentary throughout the first round, while host Paul Kennedy will join analysts Dave Andreychuk and Bobby "The Chief” Taylor on the broadcasts, alongside rink-side reporter Michelle Gingras.
