ARE THE LA KINGS IN THE NEXT ROUND?
At the time of the publication of this GAMEDAY PREVIEW, barring a minor Miracle on... Figueroa... it seems like LA Kings forward Mike Richards won't be in the starting lineup for Game 3 at Staples Center. If he truly is unable to play, it will be the first time in a year that a big game player like Richards wouldn't be in the lineup for a crucial Los Angeles Kings' game. There has been a lot of discussion
over who should replace Mike Richards in the LA Kings lineup... but as any LA Kings fan will tell you... it's nearly impossible for the team to win without Richards on the ice. So we here at The Royal Half decided we would look at the best possible candidates to replace Richards in the LA Kings lineup.
This one is the most obvious choice because when it comes to important series-shifting games in the NHL Playoffs... everyone could use a Conn Smythe Winner
in their lineuOH THIS IS AWKWARD
Although his name is Reed Richards... you might know him as Mr. Fantastic of the Fantastic 4
. Due to a freak cosmic ray accident in which Richards gained the ability to convert his entire body into a highly malleable state which allows him to stretch into any shape
... if this Richards were skating for the Los Angeles Kings he would have been able to avoid this with no problem:
RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON
Keith Richards is known for being a womanizing, booze hound. No comment.
